The verses 61–75 in Silapathikaram, an epic in Tamil, speak about Chitrai star, Chitrai month and the full moon day. However, the Alwar pasurams and Thevaram mentions about Margazhi fasting, Thiruvonam and Thaipusam. Where is Chitrai mentioned in those literature?
